Brief Description

Phebe is currently employed as a PhD Candidate at the Radiology and Neurology department of the University Medical Center Utrecht and the Imaging Science Insitute.

Background

Hi, I am Phebe, a PhD candidate at the Departments of Neurology and Radiology of UMC Utrecht. Within the Aneurysm@Risk project of the SHERPA consortium, I contribute to the development of an image-based prediction model for intracranial aneurysm instability, aiming to improve clinical decision-making in patients with unruptured intracranial aneurysms. My research focuses on aneurysm morphology as a predictor of future instability. Using CTA and MRA imaging, I extract and analyze shape features from semi-automatic aneurysm segmentations and evaluate their predictive value for aneurysm growth and rupture. This work is part of a multicenter collaboration using longitudinal imaging and clinical data from several European centers, including Geneva University Hospitals, University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, Hôpital Bicêtre, and UMC Utrecht.
